Acceptable use policy

portfolbio is for showing who you are and what you make. These rules keep it a good place to do that. They apply to everything on your page: text, images, audio, video, links, custom CSS and widgets.

Not allowed

Anything illegal where you are or in the UK, or links to it.
Sexual content involving anyone under 18, in any form. We report it to the authorities.
Sharing intimate images of someone without their consent.
Sexually explicit material.
Harassment, threats, or encouraging violence or self-harm.
Hate speech: attacking people for their race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
Publishing someone's private information, such as their address, documents or contact details, without their permission.
Pretending to be another person, brand or organisation in a way that misleads people.
Phishing, malware, scams, fake giveaways and pages built to look like another site's login.
Spam, including link farms and pages that exist only to push search rankings.
Content you don't have the rights to. See copyright and takedown.

Using the service fairly

Don't try to get around plan limits, rate limits or the content checks we run on uploads and custom CSS.
Don't hide or cover the "Report this page" link. Custom CSS can't remove it, and attempts to obscure it count as a breach.
Don't use the service to attack, probe or overload anything, ours or anyone else's.
Don't scrape the site in bulk, or make accounts automatically.
Don't sell or trade usernames.

What happens if a page breaks these rules

Anyone can report a page with the "Report this page" link at the bottom of every profile. A person reviews each report. Depending on what we find, we may dismiss the report, remove a file, or suspend the page. Suspended pages show a notice instead of their content. We may also suspend without a report where there's a clear risk to people.
